Had an awesome time fishing, even in the rain! Managed to catch some catfish, and Captain Bob was a fantastic guide. I’d definitely go again.

I took my 13-year-old son on a trip in late April, and it was an unforgettable experience. The captain was incredibly friendly, patient, and helpful—he baited every hook, netted every fish, took photos, and stayed actively involved the entire 5 hours to help us catch fish. Not once did he seem bothered by questions or by helping my son with his reel. We’re not experienced anglers, but we ended up with a great haul of catfish and had an absolute blast. He struck the perfect balance of friendly conversation and letting us soak in the peaceful lake atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back—and we’ll be using Flat Water Charters every time.

The weather was brutal—cold and windy—but Captain Bob went above and beyond to make the best of it. He took us to baited spots and did everything he could to put us on fish, even though they weren’t biting much that day. Still, it was a solid trip. Bob took great care of us and was a genuinely great guy. We’ll definitely be back when the fish are more active!

My 18-year-old son and I went on an early morning fishing trip with Captain Bob, and it was a fantastic experience! We caught several fish, shared quality time, and really enjoyed chatting and fishing with Bob. He came fully prepared with plenty of gear and was an excellent host throughout the trip. We’re already planning to come back—with the whole family and my son’s college friends too!
